The location was great and decent, very close to the Hampton next store, the downtown area, and the beach, in a good area. The king room was updated with a fireplace, which made it more appealing than it looked in photos.- Lake Simcoe was just a 20-minute drive away from the hotel.

Really enjoyable base for overnight stay. Particularly good room with a coffee machine and a hair dryer, and soft bed. Nice service, parking onsite. The view is lovely and the pool is good. Awesome location, nice enough area. Great restaurant for fresh meal.

It was a very convenient location by the highway and still had good amenities around it.

The biggest draw bag for me was opening the fridge and finding someone else's food left behind.

The hotel here has a fantastic team, including the manager and reception staff, who are always friendly and helpful.

My room was spacious and cheap with a whirlpool and clean comfy beds. Mattress was so comfy. The gym was nice. Good decorating. Soap dispensors in the shower were cool. Lots of space in room.

Breakfast wasnt included. Pillows were too soft. Pool and spa had floaties (dead skin, dust bunnies, ect.) in it. Would go down to the front desk and no one was there.

Love the decor. Beautiful. Clean room. Great outlets for cell phone etc everywhere. Classy place.

Would be great to have an outside patio by restaurant. Doors need to be slammed to close them. If you aren't up early that would be a huge bang bang bang.

This place is pleasant, spotlessly clean, with immensely pleasant staff and new-fashioned, air-conditioned rooms with fireplaces.

The bed was comfortable.

The room's phone did not work. At 3 AM we were woken by drunk bikers and the police there to remove them. And to call the front desk to lodge a complaint, I had to call from my mobile phone. We should have had the entire Bill comp'do. We'll never stay there again.

The room was extremely spacious and cheap with a bath tub and a jacuzzi tub, could leave my car onsite. Location: the hotel was close enough to skiing and restaurants, those areas and the restaurant.

The rooms are fashionable and air conditioned, with a whirlpool. The location is magnificent, just 5 km from Barrie Molson Centre Arena.- This hotel is close to many restaurants, the downtown area, and the hockey rink.

The fact that the staff allowed me to make a "cash safety deposit" on the room the day of our stay.

Your Booked.net organization as well as the hotel themselves did not tell me that I had to have a "credit card" (not a Visa Debit card) to book the room?! Not pleased to get a phone call the day of my trip while I was travelling on my way to the hotel. They reluctantly allowed me (after much conversation) to give a cash deposit for the security deposit upon my arrival, it would be returned after inspection on check out in the morning. Then they asked me to "pay" for the room "before" we stayed, I guess because if I don't use credit cards then I must be untrustworthy to pay upon "check out" in the "morning" like any other guest would do. The room they gave us was not acceptable as it smelled like mold (as if the carpets had got wet), there stains on the comforter, a light out in the bathroom and the bathroom fan was extremely noisy and did not work well. they only reason we slept in the room (with the air condition on full and after spraying body spray to cover the smell) is because they didn't cancel our booking even though they said it was your fault for not telling us about the policy for room security deposits on "credit cards" only. So to be honest I was not impressed with the hotel or the situation I was placed in that day of our trip. I will never stay at that hotel or recommend it to anyone. I was truly disappointing for myself but more so for my daughter, as this was to be a four star hotel that turned out to be a disaster that put a damper on our special mother/daughter celebration. It has discouraged me from ever trusting in on line booking again and I am not sure if I will continue to deal with any organization to book a hotel room ever again. So not a good experience! Very unfortunate for my daughter to be disappointed and upset with the smell of the four star rating....

More types of coffee (espresso) or at least stronger stuff.
